WaPo: Masa 14 Coming To 14th Street

Back in April, a rumor surfaced on donrockwell.com that Kaz Okochi of Kaz Sushi Bistro and Richard Sandoval of Zengo (and more restaurants around the country) were partnering on a 14th Street restaurant.

This afternoon over on the GOG Blog, Tom Sietsema got a green light from Okochi that the deal for the Latin-Asian-flavored Masa 14 is on. Which for this neighborhod resident is wonderful news. September is the target date, but the large space at 1825 14th St. NW is currently gutted.
