I don't get all the raves about Tonic's tater tots. They look and taste exactly like the frozen ones you get at the grocery store, and I have yet--in 4 years of patronizing that place--to get a place of hot ones. At best, they're lukewarm to cool.

Haven't tried Tonic's tots, but the tater tots at Sticky Rice on H Street are definitely a good time. They make a great contrast to the sushi.

Appetizer portion is really generous, but you can get a side order portion if you're just looking for a taste.
