Fresh Outta The Oven: A New, Piping Hot Metrocurean
Welcome to the new and improved Metrocurean. In an attempt to be more useful to my wonderful readers, I've added some great features and updated the site's look and feel.
In the new left-hand column, you'll find:
• A regularly updated list of restaurants slated to open in the DC area
• A list of recent openings
• And Metrocurean's black book, a look at some of my personal favorites and recommendations
It's an easy, one-stop spot to keep you updated on restaurant news in DC. There's also an improved search function at the top of the right-hand column.
I hope these changes will make Metrocurean an even better resource for hungry readers. So take a look around and enjoy.

i was interested to see bar pilar and saint ex on your neighborhood list. i've heard both had really dropped off when the chefs left for hook. do you think they are back on track? that would be great news!
It looks great and so much easier to follow!
Be sure to check those lists on the left regularly, as I'll update often.
BTW-I had one of the best meals all year, last Sunday at St. Ex. a great deal too, $29.99 for 3 courses.
Regarding St. Ex and Pilar...I really miss the unpretentious comfort food which was the initial draw for me for both. Each are still reaching for something higher and miss more often than not for me.
You have to tell us what the great meal was at St Ex!
