Five Bites on Friday
Today's Five Bites come from Lee Moses (at right), a Columbia Heights resident who works for DOD. "I spend my weekends, after cashing those government checks, huddled up at the fantastic new Red Derby, which would be No. 1 on my drinks list," he says.1. Tostones con mojo at Rumberos
2. Moscow borscht at The Russia House
3. Huevos rancheros at brunch at Asylum
4. Lax pudding at Domku
5. Oyster loaf "Peacemaker" at Louisiana Express

The oyster po boy at Acadiana is tasty, but a totally different species.
I'm still holding out hope that they'll turn up in a new location. But I would have put the softshell po'boy on my list, especially as the season is nearly upon us (if we still have any crabs in the bay that is)
