For ChurchKey's New Year's Eve party, which runs from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., guests will be treated to samples of more than 50 craft beers, unlimited small plates, an open bar, a photo booth and a DJ. There's also rumor of a light-wrapped keg dropping from the mezzanine at midnight. After midnight, there'll be egg and cheese biscuits and gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches for late-night eating.
The event is capped at 150 guests.
Good luck!

And then get myself up to running 10 miles comfortably. Two resolutions that sort of offset each other, admittedly, but I'm resolute about them both.
This is a great party idea - kudos to ChurchKey for hooking DC up with such a fabulous fete.
It may sound a bit odd, particularly if you're not all that into birds, but it means more than just checking off things on a list. Getting that many will mean getting up earlier, managing my time to fit in the extra birding, spending more time outdoors, more travel (even if it's just a weekend away), and connecting with more people who share my interests.
Ride a century (a 100 mile bike race) on my fixed gear
Thanks!
My resolution is to stop wishing for the end of the year in June, and start enjoying my wonderful (and crazy) students while I get to spend time with them!
SECONDLY: To walk instead of taking cabs!
Because of this, My resolution is for 2012 to be the year of beer. I want to try a different import every month, try to make my own and enjoy the beer that I missed in 2011, while still continuing to run. :-)
Good beer and food on day one would be a great start!
You all motivated the hell out of me with your great comments. Lots of runners and sweet husbands out there in the audience. =)
