Chef Five Bites: Travis Olson

Travis Olson, pastry chef at 1789, was born in Arlington and attended L'Academie de Cuisine in Bethesda. He worked with pastry chef David Guas at DC Coast before joining the Clyde's Restaurant Group in June 2002. Olson joined 1789 last July and this year was nominated for a Rammy award as pastry chef of the year. Here he shares the spots where he likes to eat in his Arlington neighborhood.
